Appetizers
Cheese Ball
1 C. canned olives
2 8 oz. pkgs. cream cheese
2 oz. blue cheese
2 C. (8 oz.) cheddar cheese
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
dash liquid red pepper seasoning
1/4 C. chopped parsley

Soften cheeses and beat everything until smooth. Line a bowl with wrap or foil. Chill mixture, when cool, form a ball and roll in olives.
 
Guacamole
(light)

3 ripe avocados
1 tsp. salt
1 T. lemon juice
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/8 tsp. Tabasco sauce
1 clove crushed garlic
Mix and serve
 
Cocktail Sauce
3/4 C. chili sauce
2 to 4 T. lemon juice
1 to 2 T. horseradish
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. grated onion
dash of Tabasco sauce
 
Honey Chicken Wings
3 Lbs. chicken wings
1 C. honey
1/2 C. soy sauce
2 T. oil
2 T. catsup
garlic
Cut tips off of wings and cut the wings into 2 pieces.
Pour sauce over wings, cook slowly all day or at 375 for 1 hour
 
Clam Dip
1 can minced clams
1 3 oz. package cream cheese (light is ok)
1 T. chopped onion
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
2 T. mayonaise
Mix with a mixer and serve with crackers.
 
Layered Bean Dip
1 16 oz. can fat free refried beans
1 15 oz. can black beans, rinsed and drained
1/2 C. sour cream
1 C. bottled salsa
1 C. (4 oz) pre-shredded Mexican blend or cheddar
Chopped Cilantro Combine beans,
spread in 8 inch square baking dish.
Spread sour cream over beans, top with salsa & cheese.
Cover and bake at 375 for 20 minutes
Uncover and bake 10 minutes until bubbly
Garnish with cilantro

GREEN STUFF

This is by far the most requested and easiest receipe I use.

1 12 oz container of Cool Whip (must use brand name)
2 packages instant pistachio pudding mix (sugar free is fine)
1 can crushed pineapple (I like Dole)

Throw all of these ingredients into a large bowl and mix with a spoon until everything is mixed up.  Refrigerate, place into a nice serving bowl, top with marischino cherries if you like and your guests will absolutely love this!  Can be served with the meal or as a dessert.

 

Yummy Cheese Cake

Graham Cracker Crust:
1 1/4 C. graham cracker crust
1/4 C. sugar
6 T. melted butter
Press into pie plate and Bake 375 for 6-8 minutes

Filling:
1 lb. cream cheese
1/2 C. sugar
3/4 tsp. vanilla
Pour filling into crust.  Bake 350 for 20 min. Cool 15 min.

Top With:
1 pint sour cream
1/4 C. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Spread over top and bake at 400 for 10 min
.
 
Carol's Spice Cake

Cream: 3/4 C. margerine
3 eggs
1 C. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla Add: 2 1/4 C. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. cloves
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
dash of pepper (yes, pepper)
1 C. buttermilk (If you don't have buttermilk you can add 1 T. lemon juice to 8 oz. regular milk. Let sit for 5 min.)

Bake 350 until don (approx. 30 min.)

Butterscotch Frosting
4 T. butter5 T. cream or milk
1 C. brown sugar
Bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute. Add 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Cool and add enough powdered sugar to spread
 
Carrot Cake
Cream: 2 C. sugar
1 1/2 C. oil
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla Add: 3 C. grated carrots
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 C. flour
1 C. pecans Bake 325 for 45-55 minutes

Topping:1 8oz pkg. cream cheese
1/4 lb. butter (1 stick)
1 box powdered sugar
chopped pecans are optional.
